This is pretty easily the best show of 76-IMHO Oh my that last two minutes of NFA is honey,īest sound recording of DEW for the year. (NOT FADE might be one of the few tunes from the PIG era that just kept sparkin' right up until the Brent era.) My take is they jam the Slipknot so far out that they missed the Franklin's exit. Jerry and Phil are relentless and Bob and Keith are working the edges. The jam in Slipknot is pretty thorough- almost works its way into Blues For Allah territory. I dig that HELP intro-every time-every freakin time.

No such issue this night and it sizzles!! Scarlet Begonias deep & sublime in Set Two.Īround is fun but always made me a little nervous that it might be close to curtain time. (Good Way to get New Years off to a proper start.)ĭuring the micro drums you can hear the band agree on GOOD LOVIN' and then the most fluid segue into SAMSON -CHECK out Track #13 *****GD Which features the band jamming it's collective butt off. Good 1st set with an old fashioned extended PITB closer It doesn't sound like Donna was on for the whole set but she is sweet and spicy for the last three numbers. 1-Promised and Bertha both sweet and upbeat
